... and anyone else who is dropping by. Has it really been a whole week since the last WOYWW? I hope you have all been well and getting lots of desk time.
Its a busy desk this week. The die cut letters on the left are all names of Rays(the fish type) for the table planners for my sisters wedding in just 10 days - yep 10 days. The parcel you can see on the right is the order of service for the same wedding which were due to be posted out on Mon. I got a last minute phone call from my sister on Mon asking if she could change her mind and have table seating done too. Not only that but as her fiancee is a keen angler could they all be named after fish!!!
Can you imaging asking a wedding stationery company to accommadate that request? That's the beauty of having your wedding staionery custom made and hand crafted. It can all be tailored EXACTLY to your liking.
And where there's Fish.....
You will find naughty Kitties lol. Mauser is aiting patiently for the punching to begin again so he can catch the bits that fall from the punch.
And here he is helping me count out the ribbon borders for the table plans. Both the Kitties spend lots of time running around the house now but as soon as my bum hits the craft room chair you can bet that Mauser is right there on the desk ready to help .
You've got quite the helper there! Good luck finishing everything before the wedding. No pressure! LOL. Happy WOYWW! Tammy #67

You're busy and not sure whether Mauser is helping or not - lol! Thanks for sharing your workspace. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #99 x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you told us, as I was really trying to figure out how "blonde," "undulate" and "eagle" were related.
ReplyDeleteAren't kitty helpers wonderful? Not always the most productive, but always good company and good for a smile.
Happy Woyww!

Well, I bet there's never been a table plan based on fish before...but I like the idea!! The cat is showing a great deal of patience in the photo...mine would never do that!

Oh my goodness I love your puddy tat he is beautiful. It is so nice to have company when crafting, I hope he doesn't eat the pieces like mine does or push them off the desk if he wants to be there. Mine also lays on the pieces that I want to use and wont budge. Of course if I drop a piece it is gone forever. LOL
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you can help you sister make her day perfect, the wedding sounds like it is going to be different but fun.

Hi Emily
ReplyDeleteI'm really late getting round to everyone this week! Thanks for stopping by my blog though.
I had to LOL at the fish and then your lovely kitty... hehehe.... and yes, it's just what we love about handmade stuff, the uniqueness of it all. Well done you!
Lovely helpers you have there, when my kids were small, they used to smell when I wanted to work and then demand to sit on my lap. Never thought it was possible, but i miss those days. Nothing worse than wedding stationery, but oh so rewarding. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy very belated WOYWW.
