Summertime....

and it gets busy here. The joys of living by the sea mean you get lots of visitors in the summer months which is always lovely. However it has a dramatic effect on the amount of time I get to sneak off into my room of craft and create. 

The good news is visitors have all gone now and peace has returned to the Nutty house so I have had a little time to play.

This card uses a technique which is featured on so many blogs out there that I'm sure you have seen it before however its a new one to me and I really enjoyed making such an effective card from such a simple technique. 

 Apologies for the poor light this eve, I think Summer has deserted us. I will be back with a better photo in the next couple of days and step by step instructions for this technique.

My next monthly class is based around Christmas, so my ladies will all be making this gorgeous Angel as part of the day. The Angel is cased from the lovely Monica  who very kindly allowed me to adapt her design slightly. I'm sure my ladies are going to love this along with the rest of the days creations and if you would like to join us then just contact me for more details. I am happy to offer this class as a kit if you live too far to attend the class or come to your house and show you and a group of friends how to make this.

WOYWW...

There's a distinct lack of creativity on my desk this week. As you can see from my previous post it's been a busy couple of weeks here at the Nutty house and couple that with sinusitus and the crafting goes out of the window!

I'm just starting to feel a touch better but it still hurts to bend my head forward too much so I'm crafting in little spurts but doing lots of blog hopping in the meantime. My 'projects to do' pile has grown vastly!!!
I felt it was time to join you all over at WOYWW  after a couple of weeks being MIA.

So here is my neglected desk this week...

 Not much in the way of finished work but on the right you can see a fan made from 12 x12 papers that I'm almost finished. The good news for my desk is that the terrible two are spending less time on there pinching bits and generally making a mess. And the reason for that.....

They have figured out how to climb the stairs and now have a new, much bouncier playground!!! Our bed. Apologies for the blurry photo but they never keep still these days and so good pics are getting harder.

Its been a while...

Apologies to you all but it's been a busy couple of weeks here in the Nutty house...

I don't know about you but every now and again (much to the Nutty one's disgust lol) I have this over whelming urge to clear all the rooms in the house of anything that hasn't been used in a while and is getting on my nerves. This past couple of weeks have seen me do just that and I feel soooooo much better now.

The only room that escapes this attention is my craft room because lets face it.. It will all get used (oneday) and nothing in there would ever get on my nerves,except that one piece of work which always seems to need just a little something before its complete (we all have one of those don't we?).

Normal service has resumed and I will be back tomorrow with the mammoth project I completed for my neighbour and good friend.
