It always amazes me just how quickly the days can fly by and before you know it 3 weeks have passed.
I was hoping to get more blogging done but as many of you will know I have had a hectic time with another retreat weekend and then a trip to Italy.
Since getting back it's been non stop here and although I've been crafting I have to confess that while the card stock has always been SU (there is no better in my opinion) I have been using other stamps.
Fear not though I am back to embracing all things SU and to that end made this cute card for the Nutty ones birthday last Tues.
Everything used here apart from the letters used to spell out 'Nutty' is SU product.
i used Always Artichoke, Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory. The cute little guy is punch art and was from a video on you tube (link to follow when I remember where I put it lol) .
I hope you enjoyed todays card.

Busy, Busy, Busy...
Wow, what a week this has been!
I've mostly been cleaning this week getting ready for our retreat guests arriving tomorrow. It's never an easy job in this house at the best of times. We are still in renovation mode and so there are 101 jobs that need doing and I feel like I am always chasing my tail just to keep on top of things but even more so with a lively almost 2yr old in tow!
I still managed to find a little crafting time (ok so its my self confessed bribe to motivate me to do the yucky jobs) and came up with this...
I can't take the credit for the design of the card as it was one I pinned to my Inspiration Station on Pintrest but I did change up a few bits here and there to give it a touch of me. The original was made by Katecap over at In Love With Stamping. You can see I added ribbon instead of a punched card layer and also added some So Saffron.
This would make a great card for any occasion.
I'm sure I won't get a chance to blog over the weekend but I hope you all have a good one whatever you are doing. Be sure to check back early next week to see how the ladies got on at the retreat weekend.
